perfect base for exploring parks and local dining options
During my stay, I appreciated the proximity to LaFortune Park, which was just under 3 km away and offered a lovely area to stretch my legs, and the abundance of restaurants like James E. McNellie's Public House, just a quick 100 meters from the hotel, made it easy to grab a bite after a day of exploring the city.

Comfortable king room, convenient location, providing easy access to various restaurants and a 24-hour pharmacy.
Limited dining options during busy times.

During my stay at South Medical Hotel & Suites, I found the location wonderfully convenient, with easy access to various dining options just a short walk away. The room offered a comfortable setting, perfect for a restful night. I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcomed from the moment I checked in. However, the breakfast options were quite limited, just some cereal and muffins. The lack of hot breakfast items was disappointing. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, making it hard to sleep at times. Unfortunately, the common areas showed signs of wear and tear, which reflected poorly on the overall experience.

The King Studio Suite was super cozy, and I loved the strong water pressure in the shower. The pool area was perfect for kicking back after a long day, with comfy sun loungers and a nice terrace. Just a heads up, the breakfast selection could use some improvement, but overall, I had a lovely stay! 😊

Our stay was delightful, with easy access to local parks perfect for walking our small dog. The hotel provided the necessary comfort, and my family enjoyed the spacious room. Being close to St Francis Hospital was a bonus during our visit.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly breakfast options.

Staff members genuinely went above and beyond, particularly in providing assistance to disabled guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Cleanliness stood out, with well-maintained facilities and no signs of bugs during my stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast selection was lacking, with limited options that didn't meet expectations. Additionally, the odor in the first room was unpleasant, necessitating a change which was inconvenient.

The nearby culinary scene is a hit! James E. McNellie's Public House is where I found some killer local brews and tasty bites, while Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe served me the freshest flavors that'll make your taste buds dance. Plus, the staff here were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist!
Not cool! The elevators were on strike, the linens had some unexpected hair, and breakfast was a letdown with just cereal and muffins to choose from.

Arriving late at night was a bit chaotic since the cleaning crew didn't show up, leaving us and several others without rooms initially. Luckily, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and we eventually found a spacious and comfortable room that had some updates. Breakfast had decent options, and the coffee was good, which was a plus. Overall, it worked for our short family trip, but some aspects could use improvement.
